JACKSON COUNTY, Ore. -- The Jackson County Expo will host the first Hemp and Cannabis Fair since the legalization of recreational marajuana in Oregon. The Hemp and Cannabis Fair, or, "THC Fair" is the first of a series of marajuana-focused fairs, celebrating cannabis and industrial hemp. CENTRAL POINT, Ore. -- This weekend is the first ever Hemp and Cannabis Fair at the Jackson County Expo.

Businesses experts from southern Oregon will be there answering questions about the different uses of hemp and cannabis. Tomorrow is also Oregon's one month anniversary of the legalization of recreational marijuana. The Hemp and Cannabis Fair runs from 11:00 am to 7:00pm tomorrow and goes until Sunday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Jackson County Expo. The fair will bring together local dispensaries, venders, and hemp-based products. There will also be a series of lectures from experts to talk about marijuana's medical uses, growing and harvesting techniques, and how to include cannabis in cooking. creating a safe environment to learn about cannabis is one of the main goals of the fair.
